President
Jarett Nicholson is the president of the Wagener Terrace Neighborhood Association and previously served as the Vice President for the previous four years. As President, Jarett organizes and runs the monthly meetings, communicates with city leadership, champions neighborhood concerns, and serves as a voice for the Wagener Terrace neighborhood. Outside of WTNA, Jarett works as a nuclear engineer for the Navy, with an emphasis on reactor plant safety and project management.Jarett moved to Wagener Terrace in 2013 when he purchased their home on St Margaret Street. He lives with his wife Carlyn Nicholson, along with their Goldendoodle Charles and two Bengal cats, Willow and Phoenix. You'll often find Jarett outside restoring his grandfather's 1968 Mustang or cleaning his boat after scuba diving with sharks. Feel free to say hello if you see him around the neighborhood.

Treasurer
As Treasurer, Kathleen manages the association’s finances, maintains the membership, and serves on the board. Previous service to the WTNA includes multi-year stints as Secretary, Editor of the newsletter, and WTNA Oyster Roast Volunteer Coordinator. When she moved to Wagener Terrace in 1998, this neighborhood was not as widely known. Kathleen remains grateful to the friend who told her about it, leading to (what was then) the only attractive affordable home on the peninsula with a driveway and backyard. While the neighborhood was a bit rougher then, she says it has always been full of interesting and kind people.
Professionally, Kathleen is a branding, marketing, communications, and project management consultant. She runs her own research firm (ZeroN), has led departments for Kiawah Island and Seabrook Island, and worked in the Pacific Northwest and Fiji.
Outside of work, Kathleen is a member of the Playwrights Lab at Pure Theatre. She serves as the SC delegation leader for the semi-annual Ukraine Action Summit in Washington, D.C. In recent years, she has developed a love for hiking and camping, and is working her way through visiting all 63 U.S. National Parks.
Kathleen is deeply committed to rescuing dogs in animal shelters. She has fostered more than 30 so far — primarily medical/abuse/neglect cases. If you are looking to adopt, let her know!
She harbors a (now not-so) secret goal of winning Yard of the Month one day — a truly worthy challenge if you’ve seen hers. And she will get around to it… eventually…?
